What an amazing three days of rum and festivities at RumFest2016!

So many rums, people and stuff going on…how do you sum it all up?
Fun? Tasty? Alcoholic?
To be honest, I think my one-word to summarise the RumFest 2016 Weekend would be energising. As I am tasting rums from every corner of the globe, chatting to blenders, distillers and ambassadors each representing their own niche of global rum, it makes me realise in a very humble way just how much rum brings together almost every nation and culture on Earth who all have something magical in common…..rum! I think this is something totally unique in the world of spirits or indeed any other drink or consumable and I truly do think it is a very energising thing.

That said of course, RumFest is about rum | ron | rhum and I did my best to tour the world rum-wise.
There were four events that I attended over the Weekend and each one is reviewed separately.
