…but this one really got under my skin.
A popular “Best Caribbean Rums” article mixes genuine rum with flavoured products, repeats some questionable claims and leaves readers with a very misleading picture of what rum actually is.
In this video I break down exactly what the article gets wrong, explain why these distinctions matter and discuss how misinformation like this can confuse people who are just starting their rum journey.

Away from rum, I'm a Liverpool supporter and season ticket holder, and a long-time Pet Shop Boys fan — which provided some of the inspiration for the RumShopBoy name.
